Semiconductor Engineering, featuring the Next-Generation Semiconductor Engineering program at Pukyong National University, is at the forefront of pioneering semiconductor technologies. Our focus is keenly placed on their applications in areas such as artificial intelligence and power semiconductors for electric vehicles. Leveraging foundational principles of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, our interdisciplinary approach integrates knowledge from materials science and engineering, electronics, semiconductors, display technologies, and information and communication. Through this comprehensive and rigorous framework, our mission is to cultivate a cadre of innovative, versatile, and globally competitive professionals.
By developing and operating a major curriculum based on demand for new industries in the Southeast region, it aims to cultivate innovative talents and research and develop to strengthen the competitiveness of high-tech industries in countries and regions in the next-generation semiconductor field using nanotechnology.
To this end, from the time of undergraduate research, participate in CES, SEMICONKOREA, SEDEX, and domestic and international semiconductor conferences through the Ministry's Collaborative Talent Development Project (semiconductor major track project) so that they can experience intelligent and system semiconductors and help them choose their career paths after graduation.
