Architectural Engineering is a multi-disciplinary major that studies building design and structure, construction technology and management, building materials, and building environment and facilities, all of which are necessary for creating human residences. Since architectural engineering is closely related to human life, our department is always ready to adapt to recent trends and changes and apply such trends to our education system to help our students be more creative and ambitious in succeeding in their professional careers. The faculty members in our department participate in various government and industry-funded research projects and publish high-quality research papers in internationally recognized journals. Students in our department have a chance to be involved in those research programs. After graduation, a student can start their career in various types of private or public companies, as government officers, etc., or as professional researchers if they complete the required degree program. A graduate can also apply for a professional engineer license after they have achieved the required period of job experience. Such license publicly ensures the specialty and experience level of their professional skills and thus will make their career more successful.
