Our Engineering College is truly sizable school which is having 8 division and 20 majors with 176 professors, 45 teaching assistant, 17 administration crews and approximately 7,000 domestic/foreign students.

Pukyong National University was established via combination between National Fisheries University of Busan and Busan National University of Technology, and also very recognized as one of universities belongs to high rank in domestic and foreign. Specially, our Engineering College is the biggest in Korea.

Our College of Engineering introduced ABEEK(Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea) at the first among domestic universities and has been operating until now to achieve the own purpose of engineering education and the actual goals.

Based on it, we make education through academic-industrial cooperation linked to real industrial sites. So we let the students know what they are supposed to prepare for the industrial working places. to become creative engineers trained for the real work.

Our College of Engineering cares about placement of subjects for general education to train the whole-person education focused on relationship, traditionality, morality and environmental problem. Also our professors with great ability of education and research are supplying studies from basic science to development technology for field application and satisfying our society and country.

Especially, our College of Engineering is focusing in education and supplying engineering expert. So devotes to local community.
